Murk Eel
A rare aquatic predator that spawns, swims and attacks within actual passable water. Its ready close-range bite hits promptly. It cannot travel across dry ground, void or lava, does not drown, and cannot bite a protected boat rider as if the rider were swimming. Its submerged body is drawn beneath boat hulls while remaining visible in open water.

| Item | Quantity range | Catalog rule |
|---|---|---|
| Catfish | 0–2 | Every successful loot roll |
A range starting at zero can produce nothing. A listed probability is the actual loot roll, not a biome spawn rate or a guaranteed quantity.
Loot is rolled once through the normal authoritative death/drop flow. Drops and carried equipment use the existing save, inventory and storage systems. Natural mobs remain transient and do not become permanent saved world entities.
