Mining & Tool Progression

Hold left-click on a resource and complete the cast. Moving out of reach, switching tools or invalidating the target cancels the attempt. The required tool and tier are shown on each resource page. A completed gather consumes one durability use from a durable selected tool; cancelled work does not award resources.

Pickaxe progression

Wooden tools let you start. Stone, coal and metal nodes impose their own tier requirements: check rock, iron, gold, silver and diamond before travelling underground.

Each item page gives actual tier, speed and durability. Golden equipment has its own speed, durability and combat cooldown; do not assume that material names form a universal best-to-worst ranking.

Use a shovel for matching soil, sand and clay actions. Natural terrain and placed floors are different: dismantle a building under the building rules instead of expecting a terrain mining action to recover it.
